At Newton Village, we’re celebrating Occupational Therapy Month with a special Lunch & Learn event!
April is Occupational Therapy Month, a time to celebrate the professionals who help individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life through meaningful activities.
Occupational therapy (OT) focuses on helping people of all ages develop, recover or maintain the skills needed for daily living—whether that’s getting dressed, cooking, or participating in favorite hobbies.
OT plays a vital role in rehabilitation after an injury, stroke, or surgery, as well as in managing chronic conditions like arthritis or Parkinson’s disease.
Join us at noon Thursday, April 24, for “What Can Pro Rehab Do for You?”, a presentation by Kim Guthrie, PT, and Laura Essen, COTA/L. Learn how occupational therapy supports daily living activities, recovery from injuries and overall well-being.
Enjoy a delicious lunch provided by Chef Norberto while discovering how occupational therapy can make a difference in your life or the life of a loved one.
